simple API

Post by toxicdog » Mon Jan 15, 2018 10:08 am

Is there a way to communicate with the BBoil device with a public api? I'd like to get the current temperature of my room via an API interface. Is there plans for this? It could be as simple as opening http://bboil.device.ip.address:port/temperature/sensor1 from the network.

Hello,
i would like to ask the same question. I need an api to read the current temp+on/off status of BBoil RF. Are there any plans for this?

Regards

Even a simple online api would be useful, for example, opening "http://sys.prosmartsystem.com/set/30" could set the temperature to 30°C, for the currently logged in user. That way there is no need for a new device firmware, and it could be opened on custom IoT devices.

As ive read that there is a MQTT client in the firmware - is there any way to configure the MQTT broker so i can receive the relay status and the temp of the relay? Currently im intercepting your web page to collect this and place it in my Openhab dashboard. It would be better to just receive all the data locally isnt it?
